Yeh Hai Chahatein
On August 8, 2024, the episode of “Yeh Hai Chahatein” unfolded with unexpected twists. The scene opened with Kaashvi sneezing and revealing she was unwell. She warned the guests to keep their distance. Nitya, puzzled, instructed Kaashvi to remove her veil, but Kaashvi excused herself and ran to the washroom. Nitya began to suspect Meera was behind these actions to insult her. Romila speculated that someone else was behind the veil, and Kaashvi, realizing she couldn’t return to the hall, stayed hidden.
Shortly after, Meera descended the stairs. Romila voiced her suspicion that Meera was not behind the veil, but Nitya dismissed this, insisting that such things don’t happen in her house. To prove her point, Romila urged Nitya to remove Meera’s veil. Nitya did so and confirmed it was Meera. Meera then remembered sneaking into the house through the back door and meeting Kaashvi. Later, Nitya confronted Meera about leaving without informing her. She reminded Meera of her status as her mother-in-law and scolded her for taking Karun to the hospital without permission. Meera defended herself, saying she did what she thought was right and left the room angrily. Arjun arrived and questioned Nitya about Meera’s behavior, but Nitya claimed ignorance and went inside. Arjun then encountered Kaashvi, who explained everything to him and expressed her desire to leave. Arjun thanked her, but Kaashvi, tearfully, insisted she acted for her son, Karun, and departed.
Arjun advised Karun against eating too many chocolates. Karun asked Meera to sleep on the bed, but Meera chose the sofa instead. Arjun insisted Meera sleep on the bed, offering to stay with Karun in the guest room. Meera agreed reluctantly. In the middle of the night, Karun woke up and wanted to sleep in Nitya’s room, leaving Meera and Arjun alone. Arjun told Meera they were friends and a couple, encouraging her to sleep comfortably on the bed. He praised her for handling the day’s events well and thanked her for saving Karun. He kissed her hand, making her blush, and complimented her beauty. However, this tender moment turned out to be Kaashvi’s dream. She reminded herself to stop thinking about Arjun and Meera.
Meanwhile, Arjun, feeling heartbroken, cried over Kaashvi’s hatred towards him. He noticed Meera sleeping near the balcony and gently covered her with a blanket. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with a preview revealing that Arjun learns about Kaashvi’s pregnancy, and someone claims the child is theirs.
