On August 21, 2024, an intense episode of Shaitani Rasmein aired, filled with suspense and drama. The story begins with Malik questioning Nikki about whether she managed to obtain the life essence, known as “jivan ras,” of the Chandra Bhediya. Malik, eager to uncover the secrets hidden in the jungle, probes Nikki, asking if she had any visions of the past while there. Nikki, visibly confused, admits she didn’t understand anything that happened. Unperturbed, Malik uses his mystical powers to see what transpired, noting a mysterious darkness that followed Nikki’s attempt to save a child by spilling the jivan ras on the ground.
Shaitani Rasmein- Nikki entrusted with a vital secret
Nikki’s mind drifts back to a conversation with Gurumaa, where she was entrusted with a vital secret. Gurumaa had warned her that no one should ever discover this secret. Returning to the present, Malik continues to press Nikki, asking if she recalled anything during the ritual in the jungle. Once again, Nikki denies remembering anything significant. Malik then inquires about the pot containing the jivan ras. Nikki shows him the pot but admits that she failed to retrieve the jivan ras of Chandra Bhediya, offering a sincere apology.
Shaitani Rasmein- Netra scolds Nikki harshly
Netra, one of the characters, scolds Nikki harshly for not completing the ritual as required. Suguna, another character, mutters ominously that this failure could lead to everyone’s demise. Malik, however, takes the pot from Nikki and surprises everyone by declaring that she did, in fact, complete the ritual by bringing the jivan ras of Chandra Bhediya. The room is filled with shock as Malik consumes a drop of the jivan ras from the pot. To everyone’s horror, he transforms into Chandra Bhediya, but quickly regains control and returns to his normal form, reassuring everyone that Nikki successfully completed the ritual.
Despite this, Malik’s intentions turn dark as he grabs a sword and advances towards Vikram. Nikki, panicked, questions why Malik is acting this way when she fulfilled her part of the ritual. Sumitra, another character, pleads with Malik to spare Vikram. Malik, unmoved, reminds everyone that Vikram attempted to kill him, and thus must be punished. In a gruesome act, Malik cuts off Vikram’s hands, leaving everyone in shock.

Piyush, enraged by this brutal act, charges at Malik. In response, Malik attacks Piyush as well. Nikki rushes to Piyush’s side, but Malik remains cold, declaring that he will not tolerate betrayal and will never forgive a traitor. At this moment, Nikki is overwhelmed with flashbacks of the past. Meanwhile, Malik welcomes Swarnprabha, indicating her growing significance in his plans. When Nikki tries to approach Malik, he violently pushes her away.

Later, Malik is seen conversing with Swarnprabha’s portrait, questioning her about what transpired in the jungle with Nikki. Netra, who is also present, tells Malik that he had read Nikki’s thoughts. However, Malik confesses that he didn’t fully understand everything from Nikki’s mind. He reveals that Nikki is gradually transforming into Swarnprabha, which is a positive development for him. Netra, curious, asks what their next steps should be. Malik, with a sense of triumph, says that once Nikki fully becomes Swarnprabha, he will achieve immortality, fulfilling Akalsatru’s dream, and gaining everything he desires.
On the other side of the house, Suguna tends to Vikram, who is now grievously injured and unable to speak. Nikki tries to console Sumitra, but Sumitra, filled with grief and anger, blames Nikki for all the tragedies that have befallen them. Piyush, still furious, tells Nikki to leave immediately, pushing her away. Heartbroken, Nikki leaves the room in tears.
As she exits, Nikki notices Netra dragging a maid towards Malik’s room, clearly against the maid’s will. The scene ends with Nikki learning of this, setting up further tension for what is to come.
The episode concludes with a preview, where Nikki vows that she will not allow any harm to come to Piyush. Meanwhile, Malik issues a stern warning to Netra, hinting at the dark and dangerous events yet to unfold in the story.
