Pukaar
On August 22, 2024, in the drama Pukaar, tensions reached a boiling point as characters grappled with their complicated relationships and hidden agendas. The episode opened with Rajeshwari forcefully dragging Mayuri inside the house. Mayuri, puzzled by Rajeshwari’s aggressive behavior, questioned her actions. In response, Rajeshwari lashed out, telling Mayuri to stay quiet. Mayuri, unperturbed, commented on Rajeshwari’s attitude, which only made things worse. Rajeshwari, in a fit of rage, grabbed Mayuri by the throat and threatened to throw her out of the house.
Pukaar- Mayuri challenged Rajeshwari to conduct a DNA test on Koel
Mayuri, however, reminded Rajeshwari of her role in entrapping the Sharmas, acting under Rajeshwari’s orders. This reminder did not sit well with Rajeshwari, who warned Mayuri to keep her mouth shut. Yet, Mayuri persisted, pointing out that Rajeshwari should be grateful to her for bringing Koel into the house, revealing that Koel was actually Saraswati’s real daughter. Rajeshwari was angered by this assertion and expressed her displeasure, which led Mayuri to challenge her to conduct a DNA test on Koel. This challenge further annoyed Rajeshwari.
Pukaar- Sagar warned Vedika
Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Vedika was having a tense conversation with Sagar. She questioned what he planned to do, given that Koel was staying with them under the name Jahnvi, despite not being her. Vedika also addressed Saraswati as her mother, which prompted Sagar to warn her. He firmly stated that Saraswati was not her real mother and insisted that he trusted the DNA report. Sagar then demanded that Vedika leave, accusing her of hurting his mother, unlike Koel, who he believed was innocent.
Mayuri, sensing an opportunity, suggested to Rajeshwari that they join forces against Vedika. She noted that Rajeshwari was clearly irritated by Vedika’s behavior. However, Rajeshwari refused to align with Mayuri, stating that she was not desperate enough to make such a pact. She then ordered Mayuri to leave.
Pukaar- Vedika and Sagar heated argument heard by the entire Maheshwari family
In another scene, Vedika, out of frustration, deliberately broke a flower vase in Sagar’s room. She declared that she could shout just as loudly as he could, but emphasized that shouting would not turn lies into truths. Their heated exchange was interrupted by a voice outside the room asking if Sagar was okay. When Vedika opened the door, she found the entire Maheshwari family, including Koel and Mayuri, standing outside, shocked to see her.
Pukaar- Digvijay scolded Vedika harshly
Digvijay, infuriated by Vedika’s actions, scolded her harshly. Vedika retorted with a cutting comment, which prompted Sagar to try and intervene. However, Vedika stopped him, insisting that she could handle the situation on her own. Mayuri took this opportunity to criticize Vedika, comparing her unfavorably to Koel. Vedika, unshaken, reminded both Mayuri and Koel that they had stolen her identity.
Pukaar- Vedika questioned about Maheshwari family’s principles
As the situation escalated, Rajeshwari prevented Digvijay from doing something rash out of anger. Vedika, not missing a beat, mocked Rajeshwari and questioned the Maheshwari family’s principles. Sagar, frustrated, issued a warning to Vedika, while Koel made a snide remark. Vedika, in turn, warned Koel. The confrontation continued as Saraswati intervened, declaring that Koel was her real daughter, Jahnvi. She expressed her hurt over Vedika’s attempt to deceive her.
Vedika, deeply hurt by Saraswati’s words, embraced her and tried to reason with her, suggesting that Saraswati had become emotionally vulnerable and had fallen for Koel’s lies. Vedika was convinced that someone had tampered with her DNA reports. With a determined resolve, Vedika challenged the Maheshwari family, vowing to prove that she was the real Jahnvi. She made a solemn promise to Saraswati to uncover the truth.
Despite the tension, Rajeshwari could not resist making a cruel remark toward Vedika. Ignoring the insult, Vedika apologized to Subhadra and made it clear to Rajeshwari that she had no interest in the family’s property or in Sagar. She went further, criticizing Sagar’s upbringing before deciding to leave. Mayuri, still scheming, advised Koel, prompting Koel to confront Vedika. However, Vedika, in a shocking turn of events, repeatedly slapped Koel, leaving everyone in the room stunned.
Sagar, furious, attempted to dismiss Vedika, but she quickly reminded him of the contract between them. She then issued a threat before leaving the house.
In the precap, Rajeshwari is seen suggesting to Saraswati that they should arrange for Sagar and Koel to get married, a proposal that left everyone shocked.
