Mishri
On August 12th, 2024, the episode of Mishri begins with a heart-wrenching scene. Mishri is deeply emotional and hurt by Raghav’s harsh words. Raghav wrongly assumes that her actions were driven by greed, believing she did everything for money. Despite her attempts to explain, Raghav remains unconvinced. She, unable to bear the insult, takes the money he offers and returns it to him, refusing to accept it. She firmly tells Raghav that she never claimed any rights over him as a wife, so accepting his money is out of the question.
Raghav, still upset, questions why Mishri entered his life and became close to Vaani. Mishri, visibly hurt, tries to explain that she was unaware of the situation and never intended to take away Vaani’s happiness. However, Raghav is unmoved. He demands that she leave his life, accusing her of causing him immense stress and unrest. Raghav expresses his fear of losing Vaani and insists that she must go far away.
Mishri, with a heavy heart, tells Raghav that she has no intention of taking Vaani’s place in his life. She mentions the vermillion he had once applied on her hairline and the nuptial chain around her neck, symbols of their marriage. But she assures Raghav that she will not take away Vaani’s happiness. Parvati, a bystander, is shocked to learn about Mishri’s marriage to Raghav. Raghav, filled with frustration, again demands that she leave his house. Mishri agrees but reminds him that the door locks from both sides, hinting at the complexities of their relationship.
Meanwhile, at the venue where the engagement is to take place, Vaani returns, and Sulekha is overjoyed. She instructs everyone to wait for Raghav so the photographer can capture the moment. However, as time passes and Raghav doesn’t show up, some guests start making fun of the situation. Chithra, one of the guests, suggests that Raghav might be having second thoughts about the marriage, which angers Vaani. She storms off in frustration.
Kalpana, another guest, tries to calm the situation by assuring everyone that Raghav would never entertain such thoughts. She then goes off to search for him. In the meantime, Raghav confronts Mishri once more, insisting that she leave immediately after the engagement to avoid causing any more problems.
Vaani, still upset, vents her frustration to Kalpana, accusing Raghav of being careless. She recounts how he had consoled her and expressed his love but is now absent during such an important moment. Kalpana tries to reassure her, promising to find Raghav. At this point, Parvathi, who has been observing the situation, reveals that she knows where Raghav is – with Mishri. She explains that Raghav is trying to correct a mistake he made in the past, leaving Vaani even more confused and hurt. Parvathi then takes Vaani aside, and she prays for their happiness, hoping Vaani never discovers the truth about her marriage to Raghav.
As tensions continue to rise, Chithra makes a crude joke, suggesting that the groom has eloped. Kalpana, furious at the insensitive comment, throws water in Chithra’s face and warns her to clean up quickly before others notice her true colors. Kalpana is determined that Vaani will marry into this family and vows to expose Chithra’s truth first.
Back at the venue, Sulekha asks Mishri to fetch the items needed to ward off the evil eye from the bride and groom. She, planning to leave after this task, is interrupted when Raghav finally arrives. He apologizes to Vaani, assuring her that no one will come between them and that he has fixed everything. He mistakenly believes that Mishri has already left the house. However, she reappears to perform the ritual of warding off the evil eye, and Vaani invites her to join in the celebrations.
In an emotional moment, Mishri and Vaani dance together, with Raghav joining in. Despite the joyful atmosphere, Mishri is resolute in her decision to leave. But just as she is about to go, Parvathi stops her. Mishri tries to excuse herself, but Parvathi reveals that she knows the secret of Raghav and Mishri’s marriage.
As the episode concludes, the tension between the characters remains palpable, with secrets still looming over their relationships. The future of Raghav, Mishri, and Vaani hangs in the balance as the truth threatens to unravel their lives.
