On 1st August 2024, the episode of Anupamaa brought several unexpected turns. Anuj expressed regret for not giving up his desires for the sake of his children. He asked Aadya to return and felt guilty for hurting her. Anuj admitted to Anupama that he felt like he was losing everything. He confessed that he needed her in his life but asked her to stay away.
