At the same time, Preeti’s family and Abhimanyu’s mother returned home. They were visibly shaken, sitting in silence as they processed the day’s events. Chachi, trying to make sense of the situation, whispered to Preeti that the dayaan had returned and would kill everyone. The fear spread like wildfire. Machhar Singh, a villager, noticed a shadow behind a curtain and muttered something about the dayaan, only adding to the growing panic. Meanwhile, Maharani Chandrika ominously remarked that the situation had escalated beyond control, and the destruction was inevitable. As the day progressed, Abhimanyu received Deepak’s mobile phone and purse. From this, he deduced that Deepak must have arrived at the khandar (ruins) later than expected, possibly explaining why he survived—perhaps the killer didn’t see him. Bindu, aware that her powers were weakening as evidenced by the lightening of her akta (a mystical item), realized she needed to act quickly. With no sign from Chandrika, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Pretending to be in grave danger, she called out for help, luring a constable into her trap. Despite being warned not to look into Bindu’s eyes, the frightened constable couldn’t resist. As soon as he made eye contact, Bindu hypnotized him and made her escape from the police station.
During this time, Abhimanyu remained vigilant outside Deepak’s hospital room, determined to protect him from any further harm. However, his guard was momentarily lowered when a nurse informed him that there was a phone call for him at the reception. Suspicious, he wondered why anyone would call the landline instead of his mobile. Checking his phone, he found it switched off, prompting him to rush to the reception area. When he got there, he couldn’t hear anything on the line. Suddenly, he was startled by a scream coming from Deepak’s room.
Abhimanyu sprinted back to the room, only to be met with a horrifying scene. The room was drenched in blood, and Deepak was nowhere to be found. The furniture was overturned, and the floor was littered with blood-stained footprints. The terror of the dayaan seemed to have struck again, leaving the villagers and Abhimanyu in a state of shock and fear.
