Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata
On August 5th, 2024, the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai aired with a lot of drama and surprises. The episode starts with Rohit questioning how they would enter the Mangla Gauri veneration. Krish reassures him that Arman has a plan. Anuradha then asks Kaveri if Abhira is planning to marry Arman, but Kaveri responds that nothing has been decided yet. Manisha encourages Abhira to pray sincerely, hoping for her marriage with Arman. Meanwhile, Arman teases Madhav about wearing a lehenga, and when Madhav jokes back, Sanjay outright refuses to wear it, preferring to call Kajal instead. Krish, however, insists that Sanjay should support them.
As the women, including Abhira, Kaveri, and Vidya, engage in games, Arman makes comments about Madhav and Krish’s height, which lightens the mood. Abhira emerges victorious in a balance game, earning praise from Anuradha, who nostalgically compares Abhira to Kaveri in her youth. Despite her friend’s request to stay, Abhira refuses to linger.
Disguised as women, Arman, Madhav, Manoj, Sanjay, and Rohit sneak into the veneration. Abhira, suspicious of Arman, devises a plan to expose him. Her efforts pay off as Arman and his friends’ true identities are revealed. When Kaveri questions Arman about his actions, he explains that Madhav, Manoj, and Sanjay missed their wives. Madhav adds that Arman missed Abhira too, prompting laughter from Abhira who finds Arman’s disguise amusing. Arman, however, grows impatient and asks Abhira if he can change out of the lehenga, but she insists he keep it on for a bit longer.
Meanwhile, Madhav tells Vidya that they brought Rohit along to avoid boredom, and Vidya brings up Ruhi. Anuradha then asks the women to recite poems for their partners. Vidya and other women participate, but Abhira hesitates, claiming she isn’t a poet. This disappoints Arman, but Abhira soon impresses him, and they end up dancing together.
Madhav then tries to persuade Kaveri to accept Abhira, warning that rejecting her could drive Arman away from the family. Kaveri, however, remains firm, believing Abhira isn’t bold enough. Vidya supports Abhira, arguing she is perfect for Arman. Kaveri contemplates this, but their moment is interrupted when Ruhi barges in, shocking Abhira with her return. Sanjay, on the other hand, is worried about the ongoing tension between Arman and Rohit, pondering how it might benefit him.
The episode ends with a preview of Ruhi deciding to give Rohit another chance, but Abhira remains skeptical, suspecting that Ruhi has a bigger plan in mind.
