Yeh Hai Chahatein
On August 4, 2024, a dramatic incident unfolded in the popular TV show “Yeh Hai Chahatein”. The episode began with Arjun arriving at the wedding mandap. Meera was confused as she received a message that Arjun and Vikram had left for the office. She couldn’t understand why Vikram would go to the office on her wedding day. Adding to her confusion, Kaashvi was also missing.
Yeh Hai Chahatein- Kaashvi confronts a man
In a parallel storyline, Kaashvi was seen confronting a man who had beaten his wife. She intervened and the police arrived to arrest the man. The wife thanked Kaashvi for saving her, and Kaashvi advised her to learn to stand up for herself before leaving the scene.
Meanwhile, at the wedding, Arjun and Meera were performing their marriage rituals. Nitya watched with a smile as Arjun filled Meera’s forehead with vermilion, though he was reminded of the time he did the same for Kaashvi. Kaashvi arrived at the scene, excited to tell Arjun that she was pregnant, believing everything would be fine.

The priest then declared Arjun and Meera as a married couple. Meera, feeling happy, called Arjun “Mohan” and expressed her joy. As she was about to fall, Arjun caught her. Noticing the absence of mehendi on his hand, Meera questioned him. Arjun then removed his veil, revealing himself as the groom, shocking everyone except Nitya. Nitya’s plan had worked, as she had sent people to stop Kaashvi from arriving on time.
Kaashvi, upon seeing Arjun as the groom, was shocked and left the scene, questioning how Arjun could marry Meera. Meera, feeling betrayed, asked Arjun where Mohan was and declared she did not accept this marriage. She attempted to remove the nuptial chain, but the priest stopped her. In her anger, Meera slapped Arjun and demanded to know Mohan’s whereabouts. Arjun explained that Vikram was the cause of everything. Dadi, enraged, also slapped Arjun and scolded him. Arjun insisted on explaining everything to Meera, stating she deserved to know the truth as his wife.
Mickey criticized Arjun for his actions, but Arjun explained that he and Kaashvi could not be together again. Nitya defended Arjun’s decision, asking Kaashvi’s family not to interfere in her family matters. She then left to arrange for the grah pravesh ceremony. Dadi was left wondering how she would explain everything to Kaashvi.
Kaashvi’s family returned home, and Dadi told everyone to go inside. She then approached Kaashvi, who revealed she already knew about Arjun and Meera’s marriage.
The episode ended with a precap showing a doctor asking Meera to sign some papers while she looked at Mohan’s dead body. Dadi asked Kaashvi if she didn’t want to know why Arjun married Meera, and Kaashvi headed to the Bajwa house.
