Meanwhile, Vibhishan tries to convince Ram that what they witnessed was an illusion, asserting that Meghnad, despite being Raavan’s son, wouldn’t kill a woman. Angad, however, remains skeptical, given Meghnad’s lineage. Laxman expresses his hope that it is indeed an illusion, but struggles to deny the apparent truth. Vibhishan insists that Raavan would not sacrifice Sita and that it must be a trick.
In Ashok Vatika, Trijata finds Sita crying. Sita shares her distress, having heard Hanuman calling her name and sensing Ram’s sorrow. An asur informs her that Meghnad has made it appear as if she is dead, leaving Ram in agony. Sita, shocked, realizes the pain Ram must be enduring, knowing the sight he witnessed was false.

Ram, though aware it was an illusion, is deeply affected by the sight. Hanuman, fueled by anger, vows to kill Meghnad for his deceit. Ram advises him to channel his anger into strength and remain calm. Laxman seeks permission to punish Meghnad.

Observing this from afar, Parvati remarks on Ram’s profound love, noting that he felt the pain despite knowing it was an illusion. Mahadev agrees, emphasizing that true love involves feeling hurt when loved ones are in pain. He acknowledges Meghnad’s sin and foretells Ram’s eventual triumph over him.
Raavan, recalling Mandodari’s words, grows concerned about the future. Ram, aware of Raavan’s strategies, anticipates Meghnad’s next attack. Vibhishan warns that if Meghnad completes his ritual, he will become immortal and gain new weapons. Despite the moral dilemma of interrupting a religious ritual, Ram resolves to prevent Meghnad’s yagya.
Raavan orders increased security at the Nikumbala cave to ensure Meghnad’s ritual is not disrupted. Vibhishan informs Ram and his allies about the dangerous path to the cave, stressing the urgency of stopping Meghnad to prevent his invincibility.
