He asks what they should do with it, and Mumba responds that they must place the shivling in its rightful spot. Babul becomes emotional upon hearing this, noting that she found the shivling when she opened her eyes in the ocean, which he interprets as a sign of their mutual love.
Mumba, however, dismisses his talk of love and asks him to focus on helping her. Together, they carry the shivling, and as they walk, Babul stares at her. He eventually points out a place where he thinks the Vaithyanath jyotirling should be kept, but Mumba notices that the area is dirty. She criticizes Babul, claiming he boasts of knowing everything but doesn’t realize that a shivling cannot be placed in such an unclean location. She orders him to clean the area, but when he hesitates, she decides to do it herself. As she wonders where to start, Babul uses his powers to clean the place, making it neat and beautiful. Mumba smiles, pleased with the result, and they finally place the Vaithyanath jyotirling in its designated spot, which begins to emit a glow.
Mumba decorates the shivling while the song “Om Namah Shivaya” plays in the background. Babul recalls how Mata Parvati once decorated a shivling in a similar manner. Mumba notices Babul’s gaze and asks him to focus on the shivling instead of her. She then instructs him to fetch Ganga water, which he promptly does. Mumba starts singing the “Karpurgauran” song, which angers Jalandhar. However, Lord Narayan and Goddess Lakshmi are pleased as they listen to her singing.
