New Update :- In 2024, the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment decided to give out the PM YASASVI scholarships differently. The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) 2024 will be given only based on how well students have performed, without needing an entrance exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) won’t be conducting the merit test as planned, following the decision from the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment. The department made this choice to make it easier for students, considering the limited time available. As per the scheme’s rules, students will be selected based on a merit list that looks at their grades from classes VIII and X.

Eligibility Criteria

- Your parents should earn less than Rs. 2.5 lakh yearly.

Online Registration Process
- You can go to the YASASVI scheme’s official website on the NTA website to apply for the program.
- You have to select the register option on the right side of the page. After clicking the Register button, a new page called Candidate Registration Page will show up.
- To register as a candidate, you have to type the candidate’s name, email ID, date of birth (D.O.B), and password on the registration screen.
- After that, click the create account button. You will successfully register without any issues! Remember to write down the Application Number given by the system.
How to Apply for PM YASASVI Scheme 2024
- After the student joins, they can apply for different scholarship programs like Trust Think.
- To do this, they need to log in by clicking the “login” button in the “helpful links” section on the main page. A
- new page will show up where they have to enter their application number and password before clicking submit.
- After signing in, visit the YASASVI test registration page on the portal to register for the exam.
- Submit all the required information and save the page for later use.

- Once there, the homepage will appear. Next, choose the school options listed on the homepage.
- You will see a new page where you can choose the state, city, and school name.
- After choosing, the school list will show up on the screen.

For being eligible for the Scholarship under PMSS, an applicant should have secured minimum 60% marks in MEQ i.e. 10+2 / Diploma / Graduation as the case may be. MEQ for entry to various professional courses differs. For example MEQ for MBBS is 10+2 whereas for BE/B.
