Sanju tried to stop Parineet, who insisted he stop calling her by that name, complaining that she was there for a project, not his endless chatter. As they entered a lift together, unaware it was out of order, Parineet expressed her desire to avoid him. Sanju accused her of mental torture and pretending to care. Sanju claimed she felt something when he was near her and accused her of jealousy over Neeti. Daljeet, observing the scene, told Gurinder that Neeti was angry and taking it out on them. Neeti declared she wanted to be seen as a daughter-in-law, not just a daughter, and demanded Gurinder stop calling her daughter. Daljeet stirred more trouble, suggesting Sanju was to blame, but Neeti focused her anger on Parineet, suspecting she had something planned.
