Mishri
On the 29th of July, 2024, a major incident unfolded in Mishri’s life. The day began with Vaani ruining the traditional shagun items. Chithra was quick to scold her for disrespecting the customs. Sulekha also lashed out at Vaani, saying she needed to learn how to talk properly. Vaani’s father stepped in, reprimanding her for not respecting her elders. Sulekha was upset because she felt Vaani’s attire was inappropriate and not in line with their culture. Vaani stood her ground, stating she was proud of her job and wouldn’t give it up for anyone. She accused Sulekha of having outdated thoughts. Raghav tried to mediate, asking Vaani to stop for his sake, but she insisted he needed to make his grandmother understand her perspective.
Chithra added fuel to the fire by saying that a servant who doesn’t respect in-laws can’t be expected to respect them. Vaani defended herself, saying she had already apologized for a previous incident and that this time it wasn’t her fault. Sulekha warned Kalpana, implying she understood her true nature. Grandpa, sensing the escalating tension, tried to calm everyone by reminding them that the engagement was over and there was no need for further conflict. Later, Grandma asked Mishri if Raghav’s family had accepted her. Mishri lied, saying everyone treated her well. She disconnected the call quickly. Kalpana then scolded Vaani for her rude behavior towards Sulekha. Vaani maintained her stance, arguing that Sulekha’s family was stuck in old customs. She emphasized that Raghav understood her and that she wouldn’t abandon her profession for anyone. Her father supported her, acknowledging his love for his family but also understanding Vaani’s viewpoint. Mishri arrived to meet her in-laws, but Kalpana blamed her for the ongoing issues. Vaani defended Mishri, while her father backed her up, saying Mishri wasn’t at fault. Kalpana warned that Mishri would eventually cause trouble in Vaani’s life.
Sulekha later scolded Raghav for not controlling Vaani. Raghav defended Vaani, saying her thoughts were right, even if her delivery was harsh. He argued that they needed to accept her profession. Parvati pretended to scold him but secretly provoked him against Sulekha. Raghav, frustrated, lashed out at Sulekha and gave Chithra a piece of his mind. He regretted his anger but was soon informed by a detective that Mishri was at the market buying Pooja items.
Raghav found Mishri and pulled her aside, scolding her for leaving him. He told her she wasn’t a warrior like Janci Rani who could fight alone. Mishri retorted that she didn’t need his protection. Raghav insisted she was his responsibility now, but Mishri disagreed, stating she could manage on her own. Raghav reminded her that her grandmother had entrusted her to him, but she refused to be a burden. She pointed out that he already had many problems, and she didn’t want to add to them. Raghav demanded she come with him, but Mishri stood her ground, arguing that he could only provide material things, not love and family. She told him she was safe and happy where she was.
Mishri drew a line with vermillion, warning Raghav not to cross it or follow her. She insisted she could take care of herself and wasn’t his burden. She believed this would make Raghav stop searching for her, ensuring his happiness. Later, she forced Vaani to eat something. Vaani remarked that Mishri’s husband was lucky to have her, even though she didn’t understand why he loved someone else. She suggested Vaani fast for him and encouraged her to talk with Raghav. Raghav, however, scolded Vaani for her behavior.
