Mishri
On 11th August 2024, the drama between Mishri and Vaani took a surprising turn during Vaani’s engagement, leading to unexpected tension. The episode starts with Raghav knocking on Mishri’s door, asking her to open it. She is feeling nervous, covered her face with a ghunghat, trying to hide her identity. Raghav, surprised by her appearance, questions why she is hiding her face. She determined to keep her identity a secret, insists that he is a stranger to her and refuses to show her face. Raghav, puzzled, tells her that he isn’t a stranger because he is about to marry her sister, Vaani. He also mentions that everyone is waiting for them, but Mishri hesitates and asks him to go ahead without her, promising to join later.
Raghav senses her reluctance to attend the engagement ceremony and expresses his concern. He then grabs her hand and pulls her towards the hall, much to the displeasure of Kalpana, who is already annoyed by the situation. Kalpana assumes that Vaani is the bride, but everyone’s attention is on Mishri, who is covered like a bride. She glares at her, fearing that Raghav might see her face. Vaani, noticing Mishri’s unusual behavior, questions why she is wearing the ghunghat. She nervously responds that she is feeling shy, but Vaani finds this odd since everyone has already seen her face.
As the engagement ceremony continues, Sulekha, another family member, worries that the auspicious time is slipping away and urges Vaani to proceed with the ring exchange. However, Vaani insists on completing one more ritual first—the “muh dikhai rasam” for her sister. She removes the ghunghat from Mishri’s face, leaving Raghav shocked to see her standing there. Her anxiety increases as Sulekha again prompts Vaani to exchange the rings. Despite the growing tension, Vaani places the ring on Raghav’s hand, and everyone applauds. But when it’s Raghav’s turn to reciprocate, he is lost in thought, recalling his wedding with Mishri. His distraction causes him to accidentally place the ring on her hand instead of Vaani’s.
The room falls silent as everyone realizes what has just happened. Kalpana quickly removes the ring from Mishri’s finger and angrily demands that she stay away from her daughter. The relatives begin to whisper, suggesting that Raghav seems to prefer Mishri over Vaani, which only adds to the embarrassment. Humiliated, Vaani storms out of the room, leaving Mishri behind. Mishri starts to follow her, but Raghav stops her, insisting that she stay.
Vaani, now in tears, retreats to her room. Raghav follows her, but she confronts him, accusing him of thinking about someone else during their engagement. Raghav struggles to find the words to defend himself, and Vaani bitterly remarks that he was never truly interested in their engagement. She expresses her disappointment, admitting that she was naive to believe otherwise. Raghav tries to reassure her, telling her that he has been waiting for this moment and that she means everything to him. He tries to convince Vaani that she is the only one in his heart, and that he could never love another woman.
Mishri, listening to their conversation, feels her heart breaking. Meanwhile, Vaani, moved by Raghav’s words, embraces him, but the damage has already been done. Raghav acknowledges his mistake and asks Vaani to wait for him downstairs, promising to join her soon. He then turns to Mishri, angry and frustrated. He accuses her of deliberately causing trouble in his life and trying to ruin Vaani’s happiness. He harshly reminds her of how she used to argue with him, claiming she wanted to live alone, yet here she was, causing chaos in his family.
Mishri tries to explain herself, insisting that she had no idea Raghav was Vaani’s lover. But Raghav, consumed with anger, lashes out at her, questioning whether she truly didn’t know about his relationship with Vaani. He accuses her of intentionally getting close to Vaani to destroy her life and accuses her of doing everything for money. In a fit of rage, he throws money at her and demands that she leave his life and stay far away from him and his family.
The episode ends on a tense note, with the relationships between Raghav, Vaani, and Mishri hanging by a thread. Mishri’s presence has clearly stirred up old wounds and created new conflicts, leaving the future of these characters uncertain.
