The neighborhood ladies arrived at Megha’s house for a post-marriage function on August 20, 2024. One of the ladies, Dolly, commented that it was good Megha got married before it became too late. She asked if Megha was wearing gold jewelry. Goldie, a relative, responded that Megha indeed was wearing gold jewelry. Jassi’s mother soon arrived, and Dolly made a snide remark about her presence. Despite the tension, Ranjeet and Megha welcomed Jassi’s mother warmly. Jassi’s mother blessed Megha and gifted her something. Megha, curious about Jassi, asked where she was. Jassi’s mother replied that Jassi was still asleep.
Megha Barsenge- Manoj left for Georgia without Megha
Dolly then inquired about Manoj, Megha’s husband, asking when Megha would be joining him in Georgia. Goldie quickly intervened, explaining that it was a ladies’ function, and Manoj would join them the next day. Soniya, another guest, questioned how Manoj could return from Georgia so soon. This led to Dolly speculating whether Manoj had left for Georgia without Megha. Ranjeet explained that Manoj’s leave had been canceled, so Megha had sent him back early. The next day, Surendar informed Ranjeet that Megha was not in the house. Meanwhile, Megha had gone to the hospital, where she asked the receptionist about Kavita’s surgery. The receptionist told Megha there was no bill in Kavita’s name and asked for the doctor’s name. Megha, unsure, spotted the doctor who had supposedly treated Kavita and asked him about the surgery. The doctor claimed not to remember and hurriedly left, leaving Megha with more questions.

Returning home, Megha was met by Surendar, who asked where she had been. Megha lied, saying she had gone to meet Sonam. However, Surendar, who knew her well, gently pointed out that he knew what was really bothering her. Megha, feeling the weight of her worries, broke down and cried in his arms. Surendar consoled her, reassuring her that everything would be okay, despite Dolly’s hurtful words.
Megha Barsenge- Megha visited Manoj’s house
Later, Megha prepared to visit Manoj’s house. She sought Surendar’s blessings and left with Kirpal, a family member. Upon arriving at Manoj’s house, they were greeted by Manoj’s father, Shadhananth, who was clearly intoxicated. Megha noticed his state but chose not to comment. She asked about Kavita, to which Shadhananth dismissively responded that she was sleeping before retreating inside. Megha, concerned, went to the kitchen and found no food prepared. She offered to cook something for Kirpal, but he refused, saying he wasn’t hungry. He promised not to tell anyone about the situation, and Megha hugged him gratefully before he left. Alone, she broke down in tears.

Determined to find out the truth, Megha went to Shadhananth’s room and brought up the issue of 10 lakhs and the absence of any hospital record regarding Kavita’s surgery. Shadhananth, feeling cornered, angrily accused Megha of implying that he and Manoj had lied about the surgery. He scolded her for questioning him at such a time before storming off to the bathroom. Kavita, trying to calm the situation, told Megha not to be afraid, explaining that Shadhananth’s behavior was a result of his drinking.
Feeling overwhelmed, Megha ran to her room, where she cried uncontrollably. She replayed Shadhananth’s harsh words in her mind, feeling more isolated and unsure than ever.
The day ended with Megha feeling lost and uncertain about the future. The questions surrounding Kavita’s surgery and the tension within the family continued to weigh heavily on her mind. As she lay in bed that night, Megha knew that the challenges of her new life were only just beginning, and she would need to find strength within herself to face whatever came next.
