Mangal Lakshmi
On August 11th, 2024, an unexpected turn of events unfolded during a family gathering, leaving everyone in suspense. The day began as a joyous occasion, with Adit’s birthday party being the focal point. However, it quickly transformed into a situation filled with concern and tension.
The day started with Adit’s family preparing for the celebration. Kusum, Adit’s mother, questioned Adit about his decision not to involve his family more in the cake-cutting ceremony. She was clearly upset that Adit’s office colleagues were taking priority over the family. Despite this, Adit’s colleagues arrived at the party to surprise him. Meanwhile, Sowmya, Adit’s wife, approached Kusum, asking if they could proceed with cutting the cake. Kusum, sensing something was amiss, advised Sowmya to wait for Mangal, Adit’s sister, who was on her way. Sowmya expressed doubt, assuming Mangal might not come due to an injury. However, Kusum assured her that Mangal would arrive, no matter what.
As the family waited, Adit began to worry about Mangal’s whereabouts. Kusum reminded Adit of the recent incident involving Ishana, whom he had sent to a boarding school, and reassured him that Mangal was with Karthik, who would bring her to the party.
Simultaneously, Mangal was busy preparing for her visit to Ishana’s school. She was instructing the tempo driver on what needed to be taken for Ishana. Lakshmi, another family member, called Mangal to check if she was ready to leave. Mangal confirmed she was prepared. Unbeknownst to them, Sowmya had other plans. She contacted one of her men, giving him specific instructions on what to do next.
As the tempo was about to depart, Sowmya’s man used a smoke blower, typically used for repelling mosquitoes, to create a cloud of smoke around Mangal. The smoke caused Mangal to feel dizzy and suffocated. Taking advantage of her disorientation, Sowmya’s man shoved Mangal into a cardboard box nearby. He then placed the box inside the tempo and shut the van’s door, effectively trapping Mangal inside.
Meanwhile, Karthik and Lakshmi arrived at Adit’s house, expecting to pick up Mangal. To their dismay, she was nowhere to be found. Lakshmi tried calling Mangal, but her calls went unanswered. Worried, Lakshmi informed Kusum that Mangal was missing. Sowmya, feigning concern, commented on Mangal’s absence, but Kusum remained hopeful, believing Mangal must have already left to join them.
Upon arriving at Adit’s party, Lakshmi and Karthik were alarmed to see that Mangal had still not arrived. Lakshmi expressed her growing concern, which prompted Sowmya to make a snide remark. This led to a tense exchange between the two women. Akshat, another family member, began to cry, distressed by Mangal’s absence. Seizing the moment, Sowmya suggested that Adit cut the cake to calm Akshat down. Adit reluctantly agreed, but as he was about to cut the cake, Akshat accidentally knocked it over, causing it to fall onto Sowmya’s dress. Sowmya was furious and scolded the child, but Adit intervened, explaining that it was just a misunderstanding. Feeling uncomfortable, Adit’s colleagues decided to leave the party.
At this point, Mangal, who had been unconscious inside the cardboard box, began to regain consciousness. Disoriented, she wondered how she ended up in such a situation. She struggled to open the box, feeling the tightness of the enclosed space. Meanwhile, Adit informed Kusum that he needed to attend an urgent meeting at the office. Kusum suggested that Sowmya could handle the office responsibilities and urged Adit to join them in searching for Mangal.
Determined to find his sister, Adit agreed. Mangal, still trapped in the box, managed to escape but was disoriented. She realized she was in Ishana’s tempo and tried to figure out how she got there. Adit and Kusum returned home after failing to gather any information from their neighbors about Mangal’s whereabouts. Kusum then suggested that Adit call Ishana’s boarding school, thinking Mangal might have gone there to visit her. Adit dismissed the idea, saying it was unlikely, but Kusum insisted, urging him to at least make the call.
While all this was happening, Mangal, still inside the tempo, was shouting for help. Karthik and Lakshmi, who were still frantically searching for her, returned home and informed Kusum that their search had been in vain. Suddenly, the tempo driver made a sudden stop, causing Mangal to be thrown around inside the box. She hit her head and lost consciousness again.
The episode ended with Mangal’s fate hanging in the balance, leaving the family and viewers in suspense. The events of the day, which were supposed to be celebratory, took a dark turn as Mangal’s mysterious disappearance raised more questions than answers.
