Mangal Lakshmi
The episode from 25th August 2024 begins with tension brewing in the household. Adit confronts Shanti, questioning her on what evidence she has to accuse Sowmya of putting salt in the food. Akshat intervenes, confidently stating that he has proof. He mentions that he had set up a camera on the kitchen slab to record how sprouts grow for his science project. Akshat is certain that this camera would have captured the culprit who tampered with the food. He promises to retrieve the camera and present the evidence.
Mangal Lakshmi- Adit eager to see the footage
Akshat quickly returns with the camera, and Adit grabs it, eager to see the footage. However, Kusum takes the camera from Adit, asking Akshat how to play the video. Unfortunately, when Kusum tries to play the video, it doesn’t work. Adit dismisses the situation, telling Kusum not to worry about it, and instead, he decides to go out to get ice cream for the children.
Mangal Lakshmi- Adit gives flowers to Mangal
As Adit leaves, he reflects on his continuous failures in plotting against Mangal. Despite his meticulous planning, everything always seems to fall apart. He then notices a bouquet of flowers in the trash can, and a new idea forms in his mind. Adit decides to take the flowers and give them to Mangal as a gesture. He returns home, distributes the ice creams, and hands the bouquet to Mangal. Mannan and Kusum, unaware of the bouquet’s origin, praise Adit for his romantic gesture towards Mangal. Meanwhile, Sowmya quietly leaves the room.
Mangal Lakshmi- Adit questions Mangal
The following day, Adit is deep in thought, contemplating how to stop the upcoming marriage. Akshat, who has been woken up early, questions Mangal about the reason. Mangal informs him that today is the day of Mannan and Sowmya’s wedding. As the preparations continue, Kusum offers Akshat some milk. Akshat refuses, commenting on its strange color. Hearing this, Kusum insists that Adit drink it instead. Adit obliges, but as soon as he drinks it, he notices something odd. The milk had a peculiar taste because Kusum had added rose petals powder to it. Adit becomes suspicious, thinking Kusum might have used the flowers from the garbage in the milk, and he feels nauseous. However, Kusum clarifies that she didn’t use those flowers, much to Adit’s relief.
Mangal Lakshmi- Mangal warns Akshat
As the day progresses, Mangal warns Akshat to be cautious, reminding him that if he falls, he might miss the wedding. Adit, overhearing this, quickly formulates another plan. He sneaks into Mannan’s room while Mannan is in the washroom. Adit pours oil on the floor, hoping Mannan will slip. He then hides behind the door, waiting for the outcome. Mannan exits the washroom, unaware of the danger. Just then, Mangal enters the room and notices the oil on the floor. She warns Mannan to be careful. Mannan, puzzled, asks where all the oil came from. Adit pretends to have just entered the room and innocently asks what’s going on. Mangal explains the situation, and Adit quickly suggests that Mangal clean up the mess, which she agrees to do.
Mangal Lakshmi- Adit contacts Sowmya
Frustrated by yet another failed attempt, Adit contacts Sowmya, informing her that their plan didn’t work. Sowmya, however, refuses to give up and urges Adit to try something else. Adit, running out of ideas, tells Sowmya to run away. Sowmya, however, rejects the idea and makes a snide remark about it. An argument ensues between them, and in a fit of anger, Adit tells Sowmya that their relationship is over and abruptly ends the call. However, after hanging up, Adit is consumed with worry, fearing that Sowmya might do something drastic in her despair.
The episode ends with Adit in deep thought, troubled by the possible consequences of his actions and the potential harm that might come to Sowmya.
