However, just as he is about to do so, Shalini arrives and stops Sowmya. Shalini confronts Sowmya about her decision to marry Adit. Determined, Sowmya insists that she will go through with the wedding, with or without Shalini’s consent. She asks Shalini to give them her blessings, but Shalini refuses and makes a critical comment.
At this moment, it is revealed that Sowmya was merely daydreaming about this confrontation. Adit notices her distraction and asks what she was thinking. Sowmya dismisses it as a bad dream. The Pandit then instructs Adit to proceed with placing the Sindhur on Sowmya’s forehead. As Adit is about to comply, he notices that the temple bell is about to fall on Sowmya. Adit, however, insists that this is not about superstition but rather a clear sign. He also reminds Sowmya that he is already married, meaning they won’t get any legal approval for this marriage. Sowmya argues with him but realizes that Adit is resolute in his decision not to marry her that day. Disappointed, she makes a comment about his hesitation and leaves.
Later, Sowmya is seen in a hotel room where she receives a call from her mother. During the conversation, she learns that Shalini has found a match for her. Despite her earlier determination to marry Adit, Sowmya agrees to meet the potential match at a cafe later that day at 5 PM.
Meanwhile, a discussion takes place among Sudesh, Mannan, Kusum, and Mangal about Mannan’s prospective match. Adit joins them and learns that Mangal has chosen a bride for Mannan.
