Maati Se Bandhi Dor
On August 6th, 2024, the episode of “Maati Se Bandhi Dor” begins with Rannvijay praying for Vaiju’s safety. He regrets his past selfishness, which led Vaiju to sacrifice herself for him. He prays to God to heal her pain and wishes for her to be free from suffering. Aaji calls Rannvijay to inquire about Vaiju’s condition, and he assures her that he will stay by Vaiju’s side. The doctor arrives and informs Rannvijay that despite their efforts, there is no improvement in Vaiju’s condition, and they need to move her to the ICU. The doctor mentions that only a miracle can save Vaiju now and allows Rannvijay to stay with her.
Rannvijay starts scolding Vaiju, saying she is used to his scolding and doesn’t respond to kind words. He sits by her side and realizes that her well-being is his responsibility, a fate he cannot escape. He repeatedly asks Vaiju to wake up, thinking she is upset with him. He holds his ears, asking for forgiveness, and threatens to count down from five and punish her if she doesn’t wake up.
Rannvijay closes his eyes, promising to say “one” and expecting her to open her eyes. When he turns around, he finds Vaiju’s pulse dropping and calls for the doctor. Despite giving her cardioversion, her heartbeat does not revive, and the doctor declares her time of death. Rannvijay pleads with the doctor not to give up, who reluctantly agrees to keep Vaiju on ventilation, although he doubts its effectiveness. Rannvijay cries, begging Vaiju to wake up for the sake of her sisters, grandmother, and herself. The doctor states that Vaiju can be kept on ventilation for only one day.
The doctor asks Rannvijay to leave, but he insists on staying. Jaya and Rannvijay’s family arrive, and Jaya inquires about Vaiju’s condition and the events that led to this situation. Rannvijay explains that the bullet was meant for him, but Vaiju took it to protect him. Jaya, having heard from the reception that Vaiju’s operation was successful, is misled by Rannvijay, who claims that Vaiju is fine and will talk to her once she wakes up. The doctor then informs them that Vaiju has no chances of recovery.
Rannvijay becomes aggressive, insisting that Vaiju will regain consciousness. Jaya stands in shock, while Ragini asks her to offer Rannvijay some water, which he refuses. Jaya recounts how Vaiju once fell from a terrace as a child while trying to retrieve a kite stuck in a tree. She tells Rannvijay not to blame himself for Vaiju’s current state and reassures him that he can make amends once she recovers. The doctor announces that Vaiju’s body is not responding to ventilation support and declares her dead. The episode ends with Rannvijay vowing not to let Vaiju go.
