Maati Se Bandhi Dor
On August 5th, 2024, the drama in “Maati Se Bandhi Dor” reached a critical point. The episode starts with Rannvijay trying desperately to keep Vaiju conscious. Vaiju, feeling weak and tired, says she is bored of his constant scoldings. Nagraj questions Rannvijay about which hospital Vaiju is being taken to. Rannvijay responds that they are still en route to the hospital. Noticing Vaiju’s breathing difficulties, Rannvijay asks the doctor about her condition. The doctor informs him that she has gone into shock. Rannvijay talks to Vaiju, urging her to stay with him, but she remains unconscious. The doctor administers cardioversion and oxygen. Rannvijay anxiously asks if Vaiju will recover. The doctor replies that they are doing their best but suggests calling her family. Finally, they reach the hospital, and Vaiju tells Rannvijay she has something important to say.
Vaiju asks Rannvijay to remove her marriage symbols before the family arrives. Though Rannvijay hesitates, Vaiju insists, not wanting to hurt their family members, especially Jaya. Rannvijay reluctantly agrees and removes her bangles, mangalsutra, and vermillion. As he struggles to remove the vermillion, his tears fall on her, finally washing it away. He feels deeply emotional as Vaiju is taken into the operation theatre.
Rannvijay inquires about Vaiju’s condition. The doctor says she has lost a lot of blood and would have had a better chance if she had been brought in sooner. Rannvijay blames himself for the delay. Jaya, stuck in traffic due to Janmashtami celebrations, repeatedly tells Vasundhara that she needs to reach Vaiju. She calls Rannvijay to get updates. An inspector informs Rannvijay that the bullet was meant for him, fired by Jaktab, but Vaiju took the hit instead. He remembers how he has always harbored negative feelings towards Vaiju. A nurse then informs Rannvijay that they need AB negative blood for Vaiju. Rannvijay offers to donate, as he is a universal donor. The episode ends with Rannvijay preparing for the blood transfusion.
