Maati Se Bandhi Dor
The episode of “Maati Se Bandhi Dor” on August 4, 2024, starts with Rannvijay graciously accepting gifts from Aaji for his family. Vaiju thanks him for his kindness and for not being upset about her Aadhaar card issue. Rannvijay, despite his occasional rudeness, expresses his happiness that they are parting ways amicably. The Sarpanch informs Rannvijay that Jaktab has been caught by the police. The villagers thank Rannvijay and seek his forgiveness for supporting the wrong person against him. They also present him with a customized T-shirt to participate in the Dahi Handi competition.
After much persuasion, Rannvijay agrees to participate in the competition. As the villagers leave to make arrangements, Jaktab, while being transported by the police, manages to unlock himself. When a constable steps out to remove a tree branch blocking the way, Jaktab seizes the opportunity to escape.
Meanwhile, Jaya and Vasundhara are busy decorating a swing for Lord Krishna for Janmashtami. Vasundhara remarks that married couples should perform puja together, while Sulekha comments on Rannvijay’s busy schedule, which leaves Jaya alone shortly after their marriage. Jaya, however, defends Rannvijay, saying that just like Lord Krishna is always around, she feels Rannvijay’s presence even when he is not with her.
Vaiju decorates the swing, and Aaji notes that it’s her first Janmashtami after marriage. Rannvijay and Kailash arrive with an idol of Lord Krishna, which Rannvijay and Vaiju place in the swing together. Jaya, looking at Rannvijay’s photo on her phone, also places an idol in a swing. Aaji asks Rannvijay and Vaiju to perform the puja and swing the idol together, while Jaya does the same alone.
In Jhumri Patan, the Janmashtami Dahi Handi competition is set up. Rannvijay, donning his customized T-shirt, stands ready to compete. The Sarpanch asks if Rannvijay will break the handi, to which he replies confidently. Vaiju steps forward, challenging Rannvijay, asserting she will break it. Aaji mentions that Vaiju has been the one to break the Dahi handi every year. Accepting the challenge, Rannvijay declares he will defeat her and break the pot. As the competition begins, Rannvijay breaks a coconut, and Aaji asks Vaiju to touch his hand for good luck.
Unbeknownst to many, Jaktab has infiltrated the competition, hiding his face with a towel. As the event progresses, it starts to rain, and both Rannvijay and Vaiju begin climbing their respective sides. Just as they reach the top, Jaktab aims his gun at Rannvijay. Vaiju notices this and steps in front of Rannvijay, taking the bullet herself.
The Sarpanch urgently calls for an ambulance while Vaiju, wounded, urges Rannvijay to return to his village. Despite his panic, Rannvijay insists on taking Vaiju to the hospital himself. During this chaotic moment, Jaya calls Rannvijay to ask about dinner plans, unaware of the crisis. Rannvijay, carrying Vaiju in his arms, is in a state of distress. Ragini tries to comfort him, saying that as long as Vaiju is there, nothing will happen to him, but Jaya senses something is amiss.
The episode ends with Rannvijay in a panic, watching Vaiju lose consciousness in his arms. The tension builds as the precap reveals that Vaiju’s condition worsens during the ambulance ride, with her pulse dropping. Rannvijay, in tears, begs Vaiju not to leave him, highlighting the deep bond and love they share amidst the ongoing turmoil.
