Jhanak
On August 12, 2024, an intense conversation takes place between Rudra and Aniruddha, setting the tone for the unfolding drama. Aniruddha reveals to Rudra a shocking truth—Jhanak is actually the daughter of Brij Bhushan. He starts from the beginning, explaining how Urvashi, Jhanak’s mother, had married Brij Bhushan through the Gadharv rituals. However, when Urvashi became pregnant, Brij Bhushan refused to accept either her or her mother. The two were left heartbroken and isolated by Brij Bhushan’s rejection. For years, no one knew the real connection between Jhanak and Brij Bhushan. Eventually, the unbearable situation led Urvashi to take her own life.
Rudra and Aniruddha are determined to expose Brij Bhushan’s hypocrisy to the world. They cannot stand the thought of Jhanak being cast aside by her own father. When Rudra inquires about Aniruddha’s relationship with her, Aniruddha claims that he is merely a well-wisher. He insists that his only wish is for her to receive the respect and care she deserves.
Meanwhile, a dance competition resumes, where Jhanak and Pratiksha are competing for a spot in the final round. The judges find it difficult to decide between the two talented performers. To make the final decision, they invite the famous singer Kumar Shanu to announce the name of the finalist. Kumar Shanu declares Jhanak as the finalist and requests her to perform to one of his songs. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she considers it a blessing to perform live with Kumar Shanu. As Shanu sings a popular Hindi song, she dances with all her energy, delivering a captivating performance.
As the event progresses, a guest judge arrives, and the anchor welcomes both the judge and Jhanak back to the stage. The anchor reminds Jhanak of her formidable opponent, Arshi Mukherjee. She acknowledges her opponent, expressing her deep respect for her. For her, the art of performance itself holds more value than winning or losing. She emphasizes that the true essence of art lies in the act of performing, rather than in the outcome of the competition.
In a parallel storyline, Chotan discusses the character of Lalon, who, despite being an orphan, is known to be a kind-hearted person. Chotan agrees to call Lalon for Appu’s well-being, but other family members are strongly opposed to this idea. However, Chotan’s father firmly decides that Lalon should be banned from entering their home again. In response, Appu mumbles that she will continue her fast if they do not allow Lalon to visit her.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see how these intertwined stories will unfold.
