CRCS Sahara Refund Portal Registration
The Sahara Refund Portal has been established by the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies (CRCS) to facilitate the refund process for investors affiliated with Sahara Group’s Cooperative Societies. The portal’s primary goal is to assist these investors in retrieving their refunds through a straightforward and uncomplicated registration process.
To initiate the registration, investors are required to furnish essential details such as their Membership Number, the last four digits of their Aadhaar Number, and the Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number. The registration procedure incorporates an additional layer of security by utilizing OTP (One-Time Password) verification.

Eligibility Criteria for CRCS Sahara Refund Portal – The genuine and legitimate Depositors of following four Sahara Societies are eligible for refund through the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal
i) Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata.
ii) Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow.
iii) Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal.
iv) Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad
Who can apply?
The CRCS Sahara Refund Portal provides a chance for qualified depositors hailing from four Sahara group societies, namely Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Ltd., Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., to initiate refund applications.
Eligibility Criteria for Filing a Claim –
The Depositors must have made deposits & have outstanding dues receivable
before the following dates, for filing a claim request :
22nd March 2022 for –
1. Humara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Kolkata.
2. Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Lucknow.
3. Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, Bhopal.
29th March 2023 for:
1. Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited, Hyderabad.

Online Apply Process for CRCS Sahara Refund – To request a refund through the Sahara Refund Portal, just follow these straight forward steps :
1. Go to the official website: https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/Depositor/Login.
2. Complete the registration process by entering your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and other essential details.
3. Verify your email address to facilitate future communication.
4. Log in to your account using your Aadhaar number and mobile number.
5. Familiarize yourself with the portal’s instructions and features to ensure a seamless application process.
6. Provide accurate and comprehensive information by filling out the online refund request form.
7. Upload the required documents, ensuring they meet the specified size limits.

9. Finally, submit your refund request through the portal.
Refund Process & Amount for – In its initial phase, the refund portal is slated to disburse a total sum of Rs 5,000 crore among depositors. During this phase, each depositor will have the opportunity to claim a maximum amount of Rs 10,000. As part of a trial run, the portal will commence refunds of Rs 10,000 to investors initially. Depending on the success of this trial, there might be a potential increase in the refund amount in the future.
Sahara Refund Portal : In Case When OTP Not Received
If users encounter challenges in receiving the OTP via the Sahara India Refund Portal while entering their Aadhaar number, this issue could arise from technical glitches in the recently launched website. In such cases, it is advisable to exercise patience and attempt the process at a later time. The development team is actively addressing the matter, and over time, users should expect a seamless reception of the OTP, enabling them to complete their registration on the portal smoothly and without impediments.
