On August 7th, 2024, Baani shares some good news with Softy about her job becoming permanent. Softy praises her. Meanwhile, Lavanya tells Rajat that although Baani is a good person, she isn’t the right one for him. Lavanya insists that no one can love Rajat like she does. Rajat responds by saying that Baani is there for him and that he has moved on in his life, so Lavanya should too. Ignoring her pleas, Rajat leaves, leaving Lavanya upset and determined to prove that Rajat cannot move on without her.

At the same time, Softy wants to tell Baani about Gini and her friends, but Gini arrives, interrupting the conversation. Gini pleads with Softy not to tell anyone about her friends. Shilpa and Nandu arrive and question Softy and Gini. Later, Shilpa informs the Khanna family about Gini bunking classes and her friends. Baani tells the family about her new job and gives them sweets to celebrate. Rajat comes home, ignoring Baani and his family. Baani senses Rajat’s anger and questions him. Rajat complains about her job choice, leading to an argument. Both are upset. Rajat keeps getting calls from Lavanya and eventually leaves to answer her. Lavanya apologizes for her earlier behavior and asks Rajat to remain friends, respecting his decision to move on. Rajat is worried.
At the Arora house, Mannat tells her parents about Baani’s new job. They discuss recent events in Baani’s life, hoping Rajat’s family isn’t mad at her. Meanwhile, Bhishan and Bebe share with their laughter club members about Darshan’s false allegations against Baani and how Rajat and Baani handled the situation.
Poonam expresses her worry to Baani about Rajat’s reaction to her job. Baani reassures her and they both get happy learning about a profit in the share market. Aastha questions them, but they lie about their conversation. Rajat is disturbed, recalling memories with Lavanya. Baani helps him with his tie, and he stares at her. Later, Baani’s suggestion to the Khannas shocks everyone.
