Kaynaat, another family member, is deeply concerned for her son, and Hafeez tries to calm her down. Armaan, another character, questions Gulnaaz about the cheque, worried that they might have lost the money in the bank. Gulnaaz reassures him, though she is secretly relieved that the cheque bounced, as she hadn’t expected it to be cashed. However, she lies and pretends that there is money in the account and offers to accompany Ibadat to the bank to withdraw the funds. Gulnaaz is shocked when Ibadat readily agrees, not expecting her to go through with it.

Ibadat reveals that she managed to secure the money from her office account, a fact that relieves Dua. With the funds in hand, Dua instructs Ibadat to deliver the money to the kidnappers and bring Subhan back home safely. Soon after, Farhaan, with the help of a friend, contacts Ibadat and provides the location for the exchange. Ibadat prepares to leave alone, but Dua expresses concern about her safety, asking how she plans to go by herself. Sufi, another character, volunteers to accompany her, but Kaynaat protests, fearing for his safety as well, given the dangerous situation involving Subhan.
