Mangal Lakshmi
On August 7, 2024, a dramatic episode of “Mangal Lakshmi” aired, featuring a series of intense moments and emotional exchanges. The episode began with Adit and Ishana expressing their disappointment over Kusum preparing Upma for breakfast. They refused to eat it, which upset Kusum. Despite their reluctance, Kusum tried to persuade them to eat. At that moment, Akshat arrived, ready to leave with Kusum to invite guests for their anniversary party. Adit questioned the necessity of the celebration, given that Mangal was confined to a wheelchair. However, Kusum insisted that nothing would stop their anniversary celebration, and she left with Akshat.
Mangal, left behind, started cleaning the table but accidentally turned on the speaker. The noise attracted Adit’s attention, who then scolded Mangal, making her feel guilty for not preparing food for the family. As Mangal attempted to explain, Adit suddenly fell unconscious. Mangal panicked and called out for Ishana, but Ishana, engrossed in her dancing with headphones on, couldn’t hear her.
Mangal Lakshmi- Mangal tried to help Adit
Desperately, Mangal tried to help Adit, but in her haste, she fell from her chair, causing her injury to bleed again. Despite her pain, she focused on reviving Adit. Meanwhile, Ishana was video calling Sowmya to show her dance moves. Sowmya complained about the unclear video, unaware of the situation at home. Mangal used an inhaler on Adit, who regained consciousness and shouted for Ishana. Seeing Mangal’s bleeding injury, Adit expressed concern. Mangal explained that she ignored her own pain out of worry for him. Adit then lifted Mangal and called for Ishana, who finally appeared. He scolded her for not hearing their calls and instructed her to set up the wheelchair. With Mangal seated, Adit told Ishana to call a doctor immediately.
Mangal Lakshmi- Karthik confronted Gayatri
Meanwhile, Lakshmi brought Gayatri’s favorite food, but Gayatri instructed the servant, Indu, to eat it instead. Karthik, observing from a distance, asked Lakshmi to fetch his tiffin. After Lakshmi left, Karthik confronted Gayatri, questioning why she had changed her attitude toward him and Lakshmi. He reminded Gayatri that the incident at Mangal’s house was his fault and pleaded with her to stop blaming Lakshmi. When Lakshmi returned with food, Gayatri asked her to perform a Vrath (fast) for Karthik. Despite knowing the Vrath’s difficulty, Lakshmi agreed, promising to complete it with devotion. Overhearing this, Sanjana plotted to sabotage Lakshmi’s Vrath.
Mangal Lakshmi- Adit received a call from Sowmya
Back at the house, Kusum commented on Adit’s condition. Adit received a call from Sowmya, pretending it was a client, and continued working despite Mangal’s reminder of his illness. He explained that his BP dropped because he hadn’t eaten. Kusum questioned him about his uneaten tiffin, to which Adit complained about its spiciness.
Later, Adit learned from Mangal that Ishana had gone to her friend’s house for a group study and project work. Adit dismissed this as an excuse for children to play. Meanwhile, Ishana was actually at Sowmya’s house, practicing dance instead of studying.
The episode ended with Neha, Ishana’s friend, visiting Mangal’s house looking for Ishana. Mangal told her that Ishana had gone to her home for a project. However, Neha revealed that Ishana hadn’t visited her, leaving the situation in suspense.
