Kundali Bhagya
On August 7, 2024, the episode of “Kundali Bhagya” begins with a heated discussion between Karan and his son Shaurya. Karan notices Shaurya’s friends congratulating him and asks why. Shaurya replies that his friends are happy for him, but Karan has other concerns. He reminds Shaurya that the company’s CEO receives an accommodation facility. Shaurya acknowledges this but insists he will stay with his family in the Luthra house, not in the outhouse. Karan agrees that Shaurya will stay in the Luthra house.
The conversation takes a serious turn when Karan informs everyone that Preeta’s house has been burnt. This news shocks everyone. Karan promises to find out who is responsible for this act. He then announces that he will name a new CEO for Luthra Industries, who will stay in the outhouse. Karan surprises everyone by naming Rajveer as the new CEO. The guests applaud, but Shaurya is furious and storms out. Preeta tries to follow him, but Nidhi stops her and goes after Shaurya herself.
Shaurya leaves in his car with his friends Sandy and Sunny. Nidhi and Preeta follow them outside. Nidhi confronts Preeta, accusing her of interfering and ruining Shaurya’s chances of becoming CEO. Preeta tries to explain that Nidhi is mistaken, but Nidhi is not convinced. She blames Preeta for manipulating Karan and breaking the bond between Karan and Shaurya. Preeta insists that she was against the decision as well, but Nidhi remains angry and goes back inside.
Rajveer is puzzled and asks Karan why he made such a decision, especially knowing it would upset Shaurya. Karan reminds Rajveer that he is his eldest son and expresses his happiness for both Rajveer and Preeta. Nidhi, still upset, asks Karan to explain his decision. Karan tells her they will discuss it later. The guests start to leave, and Preeta takes the opportunity to speak with Karan privately.
Inside, Nidhi vents her frustration to Rakhi, saying that Karan’s decision has ruined Shaurya’s future. Rakhi tries to calm her down, but Nidhi is adamant and walks away. Meanwhile, Kareena supports Karan’s decision, saying Rajveer has the qualities needed to be a good CEO. Kritika and Dadi agree with her, and even Rakhi believes Karan made the right choice.
Elsewhere, Shaurya is drinking to cope with his disappointment. Sunny tries to stop him, but Sandy thinks it’s better to let him drink since he’s heartbroken. Back at the Luthra house, Preeta confronts Karan, questioning if he thinks he made the right decision. She points out that Shaurya was excited about the announcement, but Karan changed his mind at the last minute, embarrassing Shaurya in front of everyone. Karan defends his decision, saying Shaurya is not ready for the responsibility of being CEO. He asks Preeta if she thinks Rajveer doesn’t deserve the position. Preeta admits that Rajveer is talented. Rakhi joins them and reassures Preeta that Karan did the right thing.
The Luthra women congratulate Rajveer on his new position. Mahesh advises Rajveer to use his new power wisely and expresses his trust in Rajveer’s capabilities. He blesses Rajveer, but Nidhi remains defiant, insisting that Shaurya is the real CEO in her eyes and refuses to accept Rajveer in the role. Karan, however, dismisses her opinion, saying it doesn’t matter what she thinks.
The episode concludes with tension still high among the Luthra family members. Rajveer’s new role as CEO has clearly caused a rift, and the future interactions between the family members promise more drama and conflict.
