Lakshmi Narayan
On the 6th of August 2024, the episode of Lakshmi Narayan begins with Hiranyakashyap telling Prahlad that Narayan is his enemy. He insists that Narayan is tricking Prahlad and asks Sukhracharya to teach Prahlad the reality. Hiranyakashyap wants Prahlad to believe that there is only one god, and his name is Hiranyakashyap. He declares that Prahlad will prove this the next day and leaves. Naradar, observing the situation, ponders that only Narayan knows who will teach a lesson.
Lakshmi Narayan- Hiranyakashyap frustrated
Hiranyakashyap is frustrated because his son, Prahlad, is a devotee of Narayan, something he cannot accept. He vents his anger on things around him, recalling how happy he was when Prahlad was born, only to be humiliated when Prahlad declared Narayan as his god. Sukhracharya takes Prahlad to meet the people, who praise Hiranyakashyap and respect Prahlad for being his son. Sukhracharya tries to change Prahlad’s mind by praising Hiranyakashyap.
Lakshmi Narayan- Lakshmi worries
Kayadu, Hiranyakashyap’s wife, meets him, and he complains that he had high expectations for his son, but Prahlad humiliated him by calling Narayan his god. Hiranyakashyap cannot accept this humiliation and vows to take revenge on Narayan. Narayan tells Lakshmi that their story will be remembered in history, while Lakshmi worries that Sukhracharya might succeed in brainwashing Prahlad.
As Sukhracharya continues his efforts, some people shower Prahlad with flowers and respect him. Lakshmi expresses her fears to Narayan, worried that Prahlad might fall into Sukhracharya’s trap. Narayan reassures her that although Prahlad is a child, he knows how to see the world correctly and will understand the truth soon.
Lakshmi Narayan- villagers pray to Hiranyakashyap to save the child
Later, a fire breaks out in a hut, and a woman shouts for help as her child is inside. The villagers pray to Hiranyakashyap to save the child, but he remains asleep, ignoring their pleas. Prahlad urges them to pray to Narayan, saying he is the true god who can save them. The villagers are hesitant, fearing Hiranyakashyap’s wrath. Narayan smiles as he watches the scene unfold.
Prahlad insists they try praying to Narayan, but they refuse, firmly believing in Hiranyakashyap. Sukhracharya accuses Prahlad of brainwashing the people, but Prahlad stands by his belief that Narayan is the true god. A woman chants Narayan’s mantra, and despite an old man’s doubts, Prahlad continues to chant Narayan’s name. Miraculously, it begins to rain, extinguishing the fire and saving the child. Narayan and Lakshmi bless the event, and Prahlad is overjoyed that Narayan saved them.
Prahlad urges the people to listen to their hearts and recognize Narayan as their god. Sukhracharya, infuriated, declares that Prahlad will be punished for his actions and takes him to Asurlok. Kayadu, worried, asks what happened, and Sukhracharya narrates the events. Prahlad maintains that he spoke the truth, but Kayadu tells him he should not speak against his father and should worship Hiranyakashyap instead. She urges Prahlad to understand and follow his father’s teachings for his own good.
The episode concludes with the ongoing conflict between Prahlad’s devotion to Narayan and Hiranyakashyap’s determination to be recognized as the only god. The tension between father and son continues to build, setting the stage for further drama and lessons in faith and devotion.
