Mangal Lakshmi
On August 6, 2024, tensions rose in the episode of “Mangal Lakshmi.” The episode begins with Mangal suggesting that Karthik and Lakshmi should swing in the garden. Lakshmi, concerned about Mangal’s health, suggests they do it later. Sanjana and Kusum, however, insist that Karthik and Lakshmi go ahead to cheer Mangal up. Mangal Lakshmi- Karthik confronts Gayatri

Despite his plea for Gayatri to let Lakshmi meet Mangal, Gayatri remains silent.
Mangal Lakshmi- Akshat and Ishana are making a get-well-soon card
Meanwhile, Kusum is seen managing household chores alone and taking care of Mangal, which makes Mangal feel guilty. Akshat and Ishana try to lift Mangal’s spirits by making a get-well-soon card. Mangal points out a mistake in the card, teasing Akshat before he leaves. She reassures Ishana that she will recover soon and tries to stand up, but struggles, leading Adit to scold her for risking further injury. Mangal explains she was just trying to show Ishana she would be fine soon and could dance with her again.
Mangal reflects that Lakshmi is the only one who truly understands her. Lakshmi, too, wants to talk to Mangal but refrains to avoid causing trouble. The next day, Mangal, in her wheelchair, attempts to cook but struggles to reach ingredients on the upper shelf. Kusum, noticing her struggle, urges Mangal to rest instead.
Lakshmi serves Karthik coffee in bed, but he remains upset with her. He later talks to her about it, asking her to share her problems with him. Lakshmi explains that Gayatri has different expectations from them because Karthik is the son and she is the daughter-in-law. She says she cannot defy Gayatri’s order to avoid Mangal. Gayatri overhears this conversation and starts believing that Lakshmi is trying to turn Karthik against her.
Later, Kusum puts Mangal back in her room. Adit, searching for his belongings, asks Mangal where they are. When she tells him, Adit becomes frustrated, complaining that his things are never in one place. This adds to the tension, reflecting the ongoing conflicts within the household.
