On August 3, 2024, a dramatic incident unfolded in the show “Maati Se Bandhi Dor.” The episode began with Vaiju and Rannvijay dealing with the aftermath of a fire that had consumed their bed. Vaiju, feeling the weight of the lie she has to live with, extinguished the flames while Rannvijay stood silently.
Meanwhile, Jaktab was plotting to destroy the entire village and turn Rannvijay into ashes. Rannvijay decided to return to the lodge, but Vaiju, sensing danger, did not inform him. As Rannvijay left, Jaktab and his men noticed him. Vaiju, hearing suspicious noises, looked outside and felt something was wrong.
As Rannvijay walked, Jaktab lit a string of bombs. Vaiju ran out of her room and found the bomb string near her house. She rushed to find Rannvijay and managed to push him aside just before the blast could harm him. Simultaneously, Jaya, sleeping, awoke in shock, repeatedly calling out Rannvijay’s name. Vasundhara and Ragini consoled her, but Jaya insisted on calling Rannvijay, fearing he was in danger due to a nightmare she had.
Rannvijay and Vaiju found themselves trapped in the fire. Jaktab vowed to kill both of them next time. As they tried to escape, they hid near a cart but were attacked again. Jaya panicked as Rannvijay didn’t answer her calls. Vasundhara tried to calm her, suggesting he might have put his phone on silent. Meanwhile, Rannvijay held Vaiju close, trying to protect her. Vaiju advised him to return home instead of the village, sensing the danger around them.
The villagers, led by the sarpanch, worked together to extinguish the fire. Rannvijay and Vaiju joined them, with Rannvijay leaving his luggage behind. The sarpanch revealed that the fire was likely set by striking farmers, and the police would investigate. During a video call with Jaya, Rannvijay reassured her. However, Jaya noticed Vaiju in the background and insisted on speaking to her. Vaiju quickly removed her vermillion and hid her mangalsutra. Before Jaya could see her, the video cut off due to poor network, so they switched to an audio call. Both Vasundhara and Jaya asked Vaiju to visit them.
Later, Vaiju received her Aadhaar card, which listed her name as Vaijayanti Rannvijay Moide Patel. The postman asked her to verify and sign it. Rannvijay confirmed the details and signed on her behalf, asking Vaiju to keep the card safe. Aaji sent some gifts for Rannvijay’s family through Vaiju. However, Rannvijay refused to take them, not wanting any reminders of Jhumri Patan.
The episode ended with Vaiju feeling upset over Rannvijay’s rejection of the gifts. The preview for the next episode hinted at more danger, with Vaiju getting shot while trying to save Rannvijay.
