On August 2nd, 2024, the episode of “Maati Se Bandhi Dor” starts with a celebration in the village. The villagers cheer for Vaiju and Rannvijay. However, Rannvijay, instead of joining in the celebration, gets angry with Vaiju. He sees an injury on her hand and sarcastically asks if he should take care of it too. Vaiju applies mud on her wound, saying it is enough for her.
Maati Se Bandhi Dor- the farmers gift Vaiju
The farmers call Vaiju and Rannvijay over to share good news. The idea Vaiju had suggested for grafting sugarcane worked wonders. It helped grow more crops in the same area, saving water and fertilizers. Vaiju, being a farmer herself, understood the value of this success. When the farmers ask Vaiju about her land, she reveals she had to sell it but is hopeful of getting it back someday. To thank her, the farmers gift Vaiju a bag of sugar. She accepts only a pinch of it, and Rannvijay smiles seeing this gesture.
Maati Se Bandhi Dor- Vaiju tied Rakhi
The farmers then ask Vaiju to tie Rakhi to all of them, symbolically making her their sister and Rannvijay their brother-in-law. This act ends their strike, ensuring they continue supplying products to Rannvijay’s mill. The village headman tells Rannvijay he is fortunate to have Vaiju as his wife. Rannvijay thanks Vaiju for helping him handle the situation and is happy that he can now return to Jaya.
Meanwhile, Jaktab plans to harm Rannvijay. He and his men follow Rannvijay and Vaiju. Aaji, noticing the positive turn of events, remarks it’s a good day. However, she also notices Vaiju is sad and asks her why. Vaiju recalls Rannvijay saying he can finally return to Jaya. Jaktab plans to attack Rannvijay and Vaiju at night.
Later, Vaiju sees Rannvijay’s foot bleeding. She offers to bandage it, but Rannvijay tries to do it himself using a handkerchief. Vaiju stops him and uses her saree instead. Aaji comments on the softness in Vaiju behind her strength. Vaiju’s friend teases her about Rannvijay being handsome. Rannvijay video calls Jaya, expressing how much he misses her.
Aaji decides to talk to Rannvijay and instructs Vaiju to take milk for him. She asks Vaiju’s friends if they have decorated Vaiju and Rannvijay’s room. Meanwhile, Jaktab’s men continue to follow Rannvijay.
Rannvijay and Vaiju are shocked to see the decorations in their bedroom. Rannvijay misunderstands the situation and scolds Vaiju, accusing her of planning it to make him forget Jaya. Vaiju defends herself, saying she didn’t know who did it. Rannvijay harshly reminds Vaiju that she is not his wife, but her younger sister Jaya is. Vaiju gets emotional and lights the bed on fire, telling Rannvijay she can never take Jaya’s place.
